What Are Amniotic Injections?

Amniotic allograft injections are a 100% natural, steroid-free option to help your body reduce pain, lower inflammation, and promote soft tissue healing - from the inside out!

Amniotic fluid is rich in over 200 growth factors & cytokines that signal your body to begin tissue repair - essentially rounding up your own cells to get to work! Amniotic fluid also contains important building blocks for tissue, such as collagen, elastin, other proteins, and matrix to repair soft tissue and joint repair, and hyaluronic acid that helps lubricate joints.

If you've been told that surgery is your only option to relieve your knee pain, joint pain, or other tissue damage, amniotic fluid injections may be a great safe, effective & non-steroidal option for you to consider.

Dr. Konstantina Adams, NMD

"I always knew I wanted to be a doctor, my struggle came when trying to figure out which kind. When I found naturopathic medicine, I realized I found everything I wanted, I could prescribe when need be but actually spend time with patients and offer them individualized treatment for their ailments. I use a wide range of botanicals, supplements, IV therapy, muscle/joint injections, soft tissue work/massage, and chiropractic manipulations in my every day medicine.

Regardless of the type of treatment I recommend, I practice evidence based medicine so that my patients feel confident in a safe and effective treatment plan that addresses the root cause of their problems. I especially enjoy working with patients dealing with pain management and auto-immune conditions. Seeing my patients truly get relief and feel better drives me as a doctor. I tailor treatment plans to the individual and not to a diagnosis because I believe every person is an individual and treatment should be tailored to the individual. There is no one size fits all.

Side effects include temporary pain & swelling at the injection site, similar to any injection.

When Can I Resume Normal Activities?

You should be able to return to work and typical daily activities the same day.
